Class 2 Full Truck Licence
$1295 incl. GST 3.5 day course
To obtain your Class 2 Licence you must have held your Full Class 1 Licence for at least 6 months.
A Class 2 Licence enables you to drive a rigid vehicle with a gross laden weight of more than 6,000kg and up to 18,000kg. Refer Land Transport (Driver Licensing) Rule 1999, Schedule 3.
A doctor's medical is required if you have not produced one for driver licensing purposes in the past 5 years.

About Our Courses
All of our courses are NZTA, MITO, Competenz and Connexis approved. The skills and knowledge received by this course will be assessed against nationally recognised NZQA competency standards. This is the highest level of assessment and demands that candidates undergoing assessment prove their competency against all criteria in the national standard. In order to verify competency, you must have English language skills that are sufficient for you to actively participate in the course.
An additional fee of $49.60 (for Truck endorsements) or $44.00 (for F, W, T or R endorsements) is payable to either VTNZ or AA on completion of your course to have the NZTA certificate you are issued endorsed on to your drivers licence and a new licence issued. This is not applicable for OSH Forklift operator courses (and OSH Refresher courses) where the F endorsement is not required.

The cost of these courses covers all theory training, practical assessments, the use of training facilities and heavy motor vehicles/Machinery as well as all training resources as required by NZTA.For truck courses, costs also include a practice drive prior to your practical driving assessment which will show your level of driving experience. It also covers the cost for you to sit your learners licence tests (for class 2 and 5 truck courses only) with VTNZ after the first day of training.
You may require additional driving lessons that we can provide for you at an additional cost. This will be discussed with you dependant on your driving experience and following your practice drive (prior to final assessment).
